Ms. Gelsone is a consultant with Apollo BBC, Inc. Her responsibilities include design analysis, field evaluation and testing, structural evaluation and design, LEED consulting, and project management. Apollo BBC provides its expertise and integrated services, including structural, building envelope, and mechanical systems consulting, to its clients nationwide.

In addition to managing projects, Ms. Gelsone is a technical expert in the areas of building enclosure analysis and remedial design, structural analysis and remedial design, construction administration, and LEED consulting. She is experienced in dealing with new construction as well as retrofit and repair applications. Ms. Gelsone holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in History of Art and Architecture from Harvard University and a Master of Architecture degree from The University of Houston.

Ms. Gelsone is a an active participant in the local United States Green Building Council Chapter and is a Leadership in Energy Environmental Design Accredited Professional (LEED AP).

Her key professional focuses include forensic analysis of assemblies, structural systems analysis and design, and sustainable design.

Prior to joining Apollo BBC, Ms. Gelsone provided sustainable design consulting services for an international, award-winning architecture firm, instructed undergraduates in building science and environmental systems, and developed design skills interning with a teaching-orienting architecture firm dedicated to sustainable, energy efficient, and regionally appropriate design.
