Ms. Birsinger is a consultant with Apollo BBC, Inc. Her responsibilities includes sustainable design and construction consulting, building enclosure design, architectural peer design review, field-based evaluation, and project management. Apollo BBC provides its expertise and integrated services in structural, building envelope, and mechanical system to clients nationwide.

In addition to managing projects, Ms. Birsinger is a technical expert in sustainable design and construction practices, whole building energy simulation, and the U.S. Green Building Council's LEED rating systems. She holds a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Houston College of Architecture. Ms. Birsinger is experienced in the design of new construction as well as the improvement of existing structures.

Ms. Birsinger is an active participant in the local United States Green Building Council Chapter and has held the Leadership in Energy Environmental Design Accredited Professional (LEED AP) designation since 2004.

Key professional interests include historic preservation, high performance buildings, sustainable design, and philanthropic endeavors.

Prior to joining Apollo BBC, Ms. Birsinger served as Project Manager for the preservation of a local Houston landmark, working for a non-profit organization. Ms. Birsinger has also held positions at an award winning architecture firm with design duties ranging from preservation to commercial interiors to residential design.
