Mr. Murray is the Apollo BBC Sustainability Director. His responsibilities include industry education, sustainability analysis for existing and new building projects, and direction of technical tasks including energy simulation and facilitation of the LEED Certification Process.  Apollo BBC consulting services are focused on improving building performance and solving challenging building problems for clients nationwide.

Mr. Murray is experienced in many facets of LEED consulting and sustainability efforts. He has lead the certification process in over a dozen projects in the New Construction, Commercial Interiors, and Core and Shell rating systems. He has completed analysis of several LEED-Neighborhood Development projects in various stages. He has spoken extensively on LEED and written several articles. He holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Houston.

As an active participant in the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), Tim currently serves as a member of the national Chapter Steering Committee and a voting member of the national LEED Steering Committee. Previously, he served as Chair of the USGBC South Central Regional Committee and served two years as Chair of the local USGBC Texas Gulf Coast Chapter. He is also the co-chair of the Greater Houston Partnership’s Green Building Sub-committee.

Key professional interests include future LEED rating systems, customized education, existing project reviews, corporate sustainability plans and marketing viability.

Prior to joining Apollo BBC, Mr. Murray provided sustainable design consulting and project management services for a national, award-winning architecture firm.
