The new Perot Museum is a 6-story, 180,000 square foot building. The unique structure is described as a “living” example of engineering, sustainability, and technology at work. The museum is scheduled for completion in 2013.
Scope of services: Enclosure Consulting Services During Design, Enclosure Commissioning During Construction. Our expert assistance was required for the difficult design issues pertaining to the museum’s unique façade.

This 4-story, 183,000 square foot building was originally a 100-year old rice warehouse, located on the northwest edge of downtown Houston. Apollo BBC consultants helped transform this historic building into multi-department offices for the City of Houston. The building is a LEED Certified facility.

Kendall Library - Houston, Texas
The new Belle Sherman Kendall Library and community center is a 28,000 square foot building and is the first combined library and community center to be built in Houston. The facility is LEED Silver Certified and is the city’s first three-story public library.

Prairie Creek Library - Dallas, Texas
The Prairie Creek Library is a new 19,000 square buidling designed with sustainability in mind. The public library was constructed with the goral of achieving a Platinum level Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification. Certification is currently pending.

South Padre Island Convention Center - South Padre Island, Texas
The South Padre Island Convention Center required retro-commissioning services to restore the automatic operation of the Building Automation System (BAS) controls and mechanical equipment serving the offices, main entrance, kitchen, and exhibition hall of the convention center.

Colorado County Courthouse - Columbus, Texas
The 20,000 square foot Courthouse was originally constructed in 1890 with exterior load-bearing limestone and clay masonry walls, copper roof, stained glass historic exterior windows, and heavy timber superstructure.
Scope of services: Professional engineering services, evaluation, and was the designer of record for the exterior wall repairs, and structural aspects of the courthouse renovation.

The new Fire Station 90 is a single story, 13,000 square foot fire station and living quarters. This building is currently seeking LEED-NC Silver Certification.
